Peel Sessions

I have been on a John Peel trip lately. Downloaded nearly 30 Peel Sessions during the weekend(am in the process of downloading more) .

Some of the good one are:
1. Pink Floyd (one killer show)
2. T-Rex
3. Pavement (3 shows)
4. Motorhead
5. Roxy Music (another fav)
6. Napalm Death(2 shows)
7. The cure
8. Nirvana
9. Pulp
10. JMC

Since a lot of bands have played on the John Peel show more than once, I have no clue about the exact date of these shows.

Yeah John Peel is GOD.

indeed, God he is.

umm...if you have a fast connection, and don't mind, could you please mail me those sessions via yousendit.com or some such site?

Yeah!! World of equity research. We deal with a lot of data and stuff. Virus threat, data leak. You know what I mean.

Lets see I will try out something. Some of the files are huge. Pavement thing has three peel sessions and some interviews. It would be better if you download directly.

Jeebus, this is like the only place where I've seen Roxy Music and Napalm Death mentioned in the same breath. Brings back memories of old and nicer times when you did not have to know the PAN number by heart and file income tax returns every year.

John Peel is fucking awesome. But where do you download from? And you're downloading at work!?!
I know it's cheesy but I really like 'Slave to Love' by Roxy Music. What is the matter with me?

Anywhoo since clearly I have resurfaced again, Hullo! And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Are you one of the many Goa/ Pondicherry bound revellers too?

Merry Christmas Sir Whitelight! May it bring you hordes of ravening musicians, playing incessantly and only for you. :)

Oh my god where DO you work? More importantly, can i also work there?!

Shyam: Cheers man. Yeah Motorhead and Napalm Death (not their Death Metal avatar) are the two (and only two) thrash metal bands I love.

Hobo: Merry Xmas to you too. To download you need to copy and paste the link on the add bar. ‘Slave to Love'(1985) is by Brian Ferry, who was the lead singer for Roxy Music. Roxy Music as a band made classy music. They were awesome. Never been a great fan of Ferry's solo career.

DV: Amen.
