Maroon 5: We suck less than Creed
Awwwww! Someone is unhappy.
Adam Levine: "People hated Creed. They don't hate us. At worst, they just don't really like us. Creed ... had that attitude, they pontificated about how great they were, they had a horribly generic band. They were easy to hate and we're just, you know, easy to disregard."
Ah! Look who the guy compares his band with. The fact is he can’t do much better either. Rip Prince in the worst possible way. So much for risk taking.

Ruchika: Ah! I have absolutely no problem with you liking Creed. But Adam Levine thinks a bit differently. And I agree with him to some extent. However, I do not agree with the kind of music Levine makes.
The problem creeps in when people start to add adjectives like unorthodox, innovative, risk taking, etc etc.

My biggest problem with creed was always that they were trying to bloody hard to be a pearl jam ripoff...
Dude: ha ha. Bang on about Creed. What a sham this band was. Amazingly, these motherfuckers were sued by some of their own fans.
Reason: The fans thought the band’s live shows were pathetic.
As for Maroon 5, they say that they draw a lot from Prince. Drawing inspiration is perfectly alright, in fact necessary. But knocking off 'Dirty Mind' and calling it 'Songs about Jane' is outright cringeworthy.
Even if these guys achieve a tenth of what Prince did. Their existence would be considered worthwhile.
