My Blueberry Nights
Another Asian enters the big league (or does he?). Awesome Wong Kar Wai’s English language debut, My Blueberry Nights, comes out soon. The movie features two women from the world of music: Norah Jones and Chan Marshall a.k.a Cat Power. It will open the 2007 Cannes Film Festival, which begins today.Film's title is the last thing that would tell you anything about the movie. But ‘My Blueberry Nights’ surely gives out a typical Kar Wai feel.
Look at the colours. This is exactly what I was expecting. Feels more like Hong Kong than America.

Yeah. I hope this one is as beautiful and colourful as his other films. Sadly, Doyle and Kar Wai have parted ways.
This is not to question Mira Nair’s talent. But visuals in the Namesake have got Wong Kar Wai written all over.

hope it isn't acrimonious or anything..the man did Gus Van Sant's Paranoid Park...hm. Van Sant and Doyle..just can't see their styles mixing too well.
yup. he fits best with these east asian filmakers.
