The National-Boxer/Dntel-Dumb Luck

Two more leaks

Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers and Alligator were awesome. Played this just once. And it already sounds stunning.
EDIT: No, it is stunning.

Have not tried this one yet. Probably tonight.
EDIT: Will take sometime.

Looks like 2007 is going to be one fantastic year.

Wilco - Sky Blue Sky

Another of those freakin leaks. This time its Wilco's Sky Blue Sky. People who don't give a shit about super piracy (that's exactly what these leaks are), can look for it on the net.
In other news: Sonic Youth plan to tour China. India?

New York once again

I did a post on New York’s music. Time Out New York’s latest issue (March 1-7) too has a cover story on NY’s 50 greatest musicians. Believe me, I never stole the idea. Because I would never have left out the coolest musician ever- Miles Davis.

Charlie Parker does not make the final cut! According to TONY, he's isn't a New Yorker.
The list made me realise that New York is as important as New Orleans when it comes to jazz.
And the feedback section is not to be missed. It's awesome.
