Miles Davis- Dark Magus

Miles Davis performs live at the Carnegie Hall. It was 1974, prime of his electric years. In addition to his monstrous trumpet, there were three guitars, one fucking huge bass and I don't know what all (guess there was a drum machine too!). No wonder people call this Miles' thickest, darkest and most exhaustive shit. And it is mighty brilliant too.
Feels more like HELL than Carnegie Hall.
Someone said,
"Needless to say, this music will not serve as a pleasurable ambience for classing up your next dinner party. It is a bitterly defiant expression of nihilism from the most proteanly brilliant musical mind of the 20th century. "
No wait, give me that pussy called Kenny G. He plays "smooth jazz". FUCK ME.

Download Wili Part 1 & Part 2 from disc 1. Michael Henderson's bass lines are way too FAT, FUNKY, GROOVY and HUGE.
Note: Please listen to this on headphones. The music will drill a hole right through your skull.

Pls dont drag Kenny G in while talking about jazz. Poor soul, he didnt intent to be in jazz music. He is just one of those pop musicians. and if he wasnt abused in elevators and mall loos i would have listened to his breathless album once in a while (once in 6 months or so, you know..)
