Stones may not have recorded any legendary album after Tattoo You. But cull out two best songs from every album released after that. What you’ll end up with would be one of the best albums of the 1980-2005 period.

say the same about REM. perhaps U2 might yield a double album.

Antick, we're talking the so-called "non-prime" years here. A double album made out of best tracks from Zooropa, All that you, Pop and How to dismantle. That is being a bit optimistic.

Yeah, a great single disc album by both REM and U2 is surely possible.

And we're counting out Voodoo Lounge because that is one of the best post Exile albums.

the guitar that keef was able to play on "love is strong" ,the tone the, color and the playing was probably way superior than most of the stones 'classics'... razor sharp skull penetrating licks .. !
